At Sumar Entertainment we love providing the right atmosphere with the right music, but we realize if we don’t have a healthy global atmosphere we won’t be able to continue to celebrate all of life’s great moments together.

We want to do our part in helping our environment and taking care of this beautiful planet. That is why we are proud to be partnering with Trees for the Future. We believe the effects of trees and forests have a global outreach; whether it’s a tree in our own backyard or in a wild forest, we know the power of trees is beneficial to us all. A single tree can absorb 26 pounds of CO2 a year!

For every party booked, Sumar Entertainment pledges to plant one hundred trees, supporting Trees for the Future’s Forest Garden Program. Trees for the Future (TREES) is an international development nonprofit that meets a triple bottom line by planting trees: poverty alleviation, hunger eradication, and healing the environment.

The Forest Garden Program not only plants trees, it helps train local farmers from Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, South and Southeast Asia learn how to farm in a sustainable manner using a variety of fast-growing trees, fruit trees, hardwoods and vegetables. The fast-growing trees are necessary to secure and stabilize degraded lands. Trees for the Future helps train farmers in these areas how to diversify their fields with fruit trees and hardwoods. The Forest Garden Program is a systematic and proven four year plan that positively changes families’ lives, restoring the ecosystems necessary to bring the degraded land back to life and producing sustainable food sources, livestock feed, and products to sell.
